For as long as I can remember, horses have been my world. Their grace, strength, and quiet resilience have always inspired me. Over the years, my passion for equine health and wellness has only deepened, leading me to become an equine massage and rehabilitation practitioner. Every horse I’ve worked with has reaffirmed my belief that these incredible animals can overcome challenges and return to their best selves with the right care.

I’m ready to leap to a bigger vision: creating my equine rehabilitation and therapy centre. This centre will serve as a sanctuary for horses needing care and recovery, where advanced therapies converge with a profound understanding of equine wellness. However, realising this dream requires substantial resources, so I’m reaching out for your support.

Equine Rehabilitation Centre

The equine rehabilitation centre I envision is more than just a facility—it is a place of hope, recovery, and transformation. My aim is to combine my practical expertise in equine massage therapy with cutting-edge technologies to create a comprehensive wellness approach. The centre will offer treatments such as hydrotherapy to support mobility and rehabilitation in a low-impact environment, salt and oxygen therapy to aid respiratory health and recovery, spa baths for pain relief and relaxation, innovative combi floors to enhance core strength and circulation, and ultrasound therapy to promote healing of soft tissue injuries.

This centre will be carefully designed with the horses’ well-being at the heart of everything. I aim to create a calm, therapeutic environment that prioritises their comfort and recovery while fostering a sense of trust and connection between the horses and their caregivers.

Remarkable Athletes

Horses are remarkable athletes and companions, yet they often encounter challenges—injuries, wear and tear from competition, or the need for recovery following illness. While some horses receive exceptional care, many do not, and I wish to bridge that gap. This centre will function not merely as a place of healing but as a hub for the equine community. My aspiration is to collaborate with veterinarians, trainers, and owners to develop personalised care plans for each horse, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Space Where Individuals Can Learn

In addition to physical care, I wish for this centre to be a space where individuals can learn about equine wellness. I envision hosting workshops, training sessions, and events to educate owners and caretakers on better supporting their horses’ health. I aim to empower the equine community with knowledge and resources to benefit horses for years to come.

Starting an equine rehabilitation centre is no small undertaking. From purchasing land to acquiring specialised equipment, the costs quickly accumulate. Although I’ve been saving and planning for this for years, I’ve realised I need assistance to bring this dream to fruition. That’s where you come in.

I’ve felt the joy of watching a horse take its first comfortable steps after weeks of therapy. My dream is to provide this level of care on a larger scale, reaching more horses and giving back to the equine community that has given me so much.
